Mixed Signal Electronic Engineer - Melbourne Region
We are looking for an electronic engineer with excellent analog circuit design skills and proven experience designing and laying out complex embedded systems. Embedded programming experience is a plus!
Seer Medical is a team of experts in clinical science, biomedical engineering and design tackling some of the most challenging problems in medical diagnostics. Founded in 2017, Seer has grown rapidly to deliver an at home EEG/ECG service for epilepsy diagnostics and management that has now helped in the diagnostic of 400 people around Australia. Things we prefer you have done
A degree in electronic engineering
+3 years experience designing for manufacture (overseas manufacturing experience desirable)
+5 years of experience in Altium Designer (professional or otherwise)
Designed a complex mixed signal embedded board from concept through to mass production
Things you can do
8+ layer layout in Altium Designer
Test and characterise analog circuits
Mixed signal / RF design
Power management e.g. DC/DC
Practical hand fabrication skills (reflow, soldering, basic jig construction)
Basic mechanical design
Embedded experience a plus
