Dr. Mark Cook, Chief Medical Officer at Seer Medical updates with the latest measures we are taking to protect clinic staff and visitors from coronavirus. See the full letter here.

March 23, 2020 8:49am:

Seer Medical is considered essential with regard to the announcements of Premiers in Victoria and New South Wales this morning. Clinics are open and operational. Please call us if you have any questions 1300 869 888.

March 20, 2020 1:57pm:

  • All visitors to our clinics are advised to wash their hands upon arrival to their appointments

  • All staff members continue to wash their hands regularly throughout the day and before and after any contact with visitors

  • Hand sanitising stations are available at all locations and use is encouraged

March 19, 2020 3:41pm:

Some notes as you consider the best way to avoid risk during the current pandemic.

  • There are no hospital visits associated with Seer Medical’s diagnostic service. To be monitored, there is one appointment in our clinics to connect to the system and one appointment to disconnect the system

  • Generally, waiting rooms are empty except for the presence of our receptionist. Our clinics are designed to accomodate minimal numbers of visitors because we can only accept small numbers at a time (2-3 people)

  • We use disposable electrode systems, which means they are one-time use and the most hygienic option. Every person who is monitored gets a fresh set of electrodes

March: 13, 2020 12:00pm:

We are monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely and following guidance from the Department of Health to continue to protect the health and welfare of all clinic visitors, our staff, and the community.

During this time and as always, our clinics maintain the highest sanitation standards expected of a clinical medical service. This includes:

  • Disinfecting and wiping down surfaces after each appointment

  • Regular cleaning of door handles, reception surfaces, devices, and toilets with professional-grade disinfectant

  • Daily cleaning and sterilisation of equipment and furniture

  • Providing hand sanitising stations to all clinic visitors as well as regular use by staff members

We are deeply committed to your safety and will keep you updated with any changes as they arise.

Now more than ever, Seer is ensuring that those who need gold-standard testing can access it through healthcare in the home and do not have to rely on hospitals for these services.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact us on 1300 869 888 or by writing to info@seermedical.com

Best regards,

Dr. Mark Cook
