Thilini Perera has an Undergraduate Degree and Honours in Neuroscience from Australian Catholic University and she is also currently studying a Masters in Public Health at Monash University.

Thilini is from Canberra and started her professional career working at the Canberra Hospital. After this, Thilini moved to Perth where she worked at Fiona Stanley Hospital for 5 years.
