The setup

Seer's patented 25-lead EEG and 2-lead ECG design is built for comfort and stability.

We spent over 6 months perfecting the kit we send home with our patients, including the design and placement of electrodes, a convertible harness worn on the front or back of the body and the extendable wide-angle video camera to capture any visual cues about symptoms in context.

Regular stability testing ensures the data we receive is as reliable as the data received during an in-hospital monitoring period.

Following your referral, your patient will be contacted by our clinical team to schedule a recording period and an appointment to connect and disconnect the electrodes in our central Melbourne and Sydney clinics.

The recording

We can record EEG and ECG for up to 8 days so those patients who have special needs or live in remote areas can be monitored in the comfort of their own home.

EEG-ECG data and video is streamed in the cloud and available to view through our online platform throughout the monitoring period.

Why combine EEG and ECG?

We combine EEG and ECG because it can sometimes it can be difficult to distinguish symptoms originating in the brain from from those in the heart.

A more comprehensive approach allows us to distinguish between symptoms and where necessary, choose the most suitable therapies to treat your condition.

The Report

Using an evidence-based approach, our reports label the small events, as well as the big events so you have a more complete picture of how your patient is doing.

Comprehensive reports from renowned Neurologist Mark Cook and various renowned Cardiologists in Melbourne will be returned to you within a week of the completion of your patient’s monitoring period.

Our service is fully bulk-billed with a referral and valid medicare card. Please contact us if bulk-billing is not possible.
